Masafumi “Pierre” Sugiura was a TV and movie actor in his 20s. This led to his interest in becoming a screenwriter. Then he thought, “When a lot of writers bounce ideas off each other, it makes for a great script.” So he gathered the best screenwriters in Japan and established his own company. Today, he is proud to have 21 uniquely gifted writers on the Pita team.
